Hiring TikTok creators, or a studio that posts for you.
Most app makers who come to Social Studio were paying creators per video. Here is what the two ways of getting a post out actually involve, step by step, so you can pick the one that fits your month.
The same job, two ways
Both routes end with a short vertical post on your TikTok account about your app or product. The difference is everything that happens before that.
| Step | Hiring UGC creators | Social Studio |
|---|---|---|
| Finding someone | Browse a marketplace or DM creators, check their past work, agree a rate per video. Repeat when they stop replying. | Paste your App Store link or your site. The studio reads the listing and plans ideas for it. |
| The brief | You write what to say, what to show, what not to say, and send product access or samples. | The product notes come from your listing and your photos. You correct them once. |
| Waiting | Days to weeks per video, depending on the creator's queue. | Posts arrive on a calendar you set, one or many a day. |
| Rejects | A large share of what comes back is off brief. You pay for revisions, or you do not use the video. | Every post waits on a review screen. You approve, edit the caption, or leave it unpublished. Nothing you did not approve is ever posted. |
| The product on screen | Whatever the creator has to hand, or a sample you shipped. | Your uploaded product photos anchor every scene, so the product is the real one. |
| Music | The creator's pick, often a trending sound you cannot license for a brand. | An original track made for each post. |
| Voice | The creator's own voice and accent. | A narrator cast per post from a catalog of more than 200 voices, or none. |
| AI disclosure | Up to you to remember. | Every post ships with the AI-generated content label. |
| Posting | They send a file, you upload it, or they post on their account and you hope for a tag. | Published to your own TikTok account through the official API, after your approval. |
| Rights | Usage rights are a separate line in most creator deals. | The posts are yours. |
| Cancelling | You stop briefing. | From the billing screen, any time. |
What creators still do better
A real person using your app on camera is social proof that generated scenes are not. If one creator already gets your product and delivers on time, keep them. Many customers run both: a creator for the occasional face-on-camera post, the studio for the daily cadence that keeps the account alive between those.
What the studio does not do
It does not film anyone, and it does not animate people. The posts are photo videos: sequences of scenes built around your product photos with motion, on-screen text, music and a voiceover, plus carousels and single images. It posts to TikTok only. It never posts without your approval, so it is not a scheduler you can forget about. If you want an account that runs on autopilot with no human looking, this is not it.
What it costs
Plans are priced by finished, reviewed posts per month, and extra posts can be bought outright. The current price list is on the pricing page. A creator's rate is per video, and most creators price usage rights and revisions on top; add up what one month of daily posting would cost that way before you compare.
See before you decide
The samples page plays twelve posts the studio made and published on accounts we run: songs, hair, nail, makeup and skincare apps. Nothing there was touched up by a human after the studio made it.
Questions
Do I have to appear on camera?
No. The posts are built from your product photos, on-screen text, music and a voiceover. Nobody is filmed. If you do want a face, the studio can keep a consistent generated persona across posts, and it is labelled as AI content.
Can I still use the posts somewhere else?
Yes. The posts are yours once they are made, wherever you choose to use them.
What if I do not like a post?
Leave it unpublished. Posts wait on a review screen until you press Post, and an unpublished post does not count against anything you cannot replace with a better idea next time.
Does it post automatically?
No. Every post needs a human yes on the review screen before it reaches TikTok. That is the point: the queue is yours to approve, not a stranger's to send.
Post every day without filming every day
Social Studio plans the ideas, makes the posts with music, voiceover and captions, and publishes them to your own TikTok after you approve each one.
